Scriptwriters Network Event: Mastering the Short Pitch

This seminar will cover the do’s and dont’s of short pitches, pitchfests and pitching strategies. We’ll go through the biggest mistakes writers make, the vital 4 C’s of pitching, what execs and reps are really looking for, how to prepare your pitch, what to include in your first minute, and step by step mechanics of and options for the 5 minute(ish) pitch. Plus, the perfect movie trailer pitch, the necessary one sheet, horror stories and Q&A. Plus, we’ll do LIVE pitch critiques!

Free Parking — Enter the CBS lot at the main gate & inform security you are there for the Scriptwriters Network event.

You’ll be asked for your government issued photo ID, and then given directions to the meeting location. You may park in any available space on the lot, unless CBS’ Security directs you to a park at a different area.

As this is a professional event, we ask that you please arrive prior to the event start time.
